Fille d’une Enchanteresse des plaines de Forézie andalouse et d’un Espagnol des Terres Noires de St Etienne, j’ai grandi au pied des Monts du Forez, nourrie d’histoires, d’enjambées dans les Hautes Chaumes & de musiques sans frontières.

Suivant l’appel des histoires, j'ai pris la route de la grand-ville pour étudier l’illustration à Lyon.

Dans la baie de Galway, face aux îles d'Aran, un os de baleine m'a soufflé un beau jour l'histoire de Flanagan le Tailleur de Rêves...

Les voyages dans les contes et les écoles d’ici et d’ailleurs m’ont confirmé malgré les doutes que j’étais sur la bonne voie : celle des luttes entêtées et des cadeaux sans prix !

Contes et courants d'air m'ont portée jusqu'en Bretagne, er vro ar marvailhoù, pays où chants & récits ont conservé la magie - et depuis ?

D'un monde à l'autre, de rêve en rêve, la quête continue !!!

THE INVISIBLE ONE

At night Burnt-Skin Girl lay sleeping, bathed in GrandMother Moon’s beams, and she was visited by a dream. Putip the Whale was carrying her on his back downriver, down to the Invisible One’s wigwam.

A deep thirst burned her throat.

The young man was standing there, waiting for her, smiling. He handed her a birchbark dish filled with the purest water she had ever tasted.

The dream kindled a stubborn flame in Burnt Skin Girl’s heart. It made her smile in her sleep. After greeting GrandFather Sun at sunrise, she went and spoke to her father.
